The 15 March Programme will take place in the Trusteeship Council Chamber at the United Nations Headquarters (1st Avenue & E46th Street, New York, NY) and will feature opening plenary, keynote remarks, panel discussions, and the WEPs CEO Leadership Awards ceremony. The 16 March Programme will take place at the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel (481 8th Ave, New York, NY 10001) and will feature roundtables and discussions, breakout sessions, a luncheon programme, interactive discussions and keynote remarks. A cost-contribution fee does apply and priority is given to representatives of companies that have signed the CEO Statement of Support. Rates to attend the 2016 WEPs Annual Event are listed below.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All rates published are in USD. All payments must be made in USD and must be received prior to the 2016 WEPs Annual Event. A standard cancellation fee of USD 50 will apply to all cancellations, irrespective of date or attendee status. 

Cancellations must be submitted to on or before 10 February 2016. Refunds will be made in the same manner as the original payment was received within 30 days.



Registrants will receive a confirmation of their registration and reservation by email following receipt of payment of the registration fee. Only paid registrations will be confirmed.



In the case of government intervention or regulation, armed conflict, strikes or any other circumstances that make it impossible or inadvisable for the 2016 WEPs Annual Event to take place at the time and place as announced, the participant shall waive any claim for the damage or compensation except the amount paid for registration after deduction of actual expenses incurred with the Event, and there shall be no future liability for either party.


CSW60 Participation & Registration

If you are planning on attending other CSW activities, please note that your grounds pass for those activities will be distributed separately from the WEPs event, by event organizers of the side events you are registered for. Further information is available at the CSW Calendar of Side Events


Participation Criteria

Participation in the 2016 WEPs Annual Event is by invitation only. If you are a business participant and would like to request an invitation, please click here.


Criteria for Business Participation

  • All invited business participants are welcome to attend both 15 and 16 March 2016.

  • Priority will be given to representatives of WEPs signatory companies.

  • Registration will be confirmed by the WEPs secretariat on a first-come, first-served basis; however adequate representation by participant sector, size and region will be ensured.


Criteria for Civil Society Participation

Select global civil society organizations (CSOs) will be invited to participate in the 2016 WEPs Annual Event. These participants include organizations with a long-standing working relationship with the WEPs or that are working concretely with the WEPs.
